7/19/2011  Update

Just talked to one of the first customers who ever bought these... he bought his on 03/13/2009... he says his straps are still holding up great!  (I was calling him up to see if he wanted to buy more stuff.)  He said sometimes the end gets a little frayed from slapping around in the wind, and he just keeps a lighter in his truck to melt the fibers a bit so the end will fit through the ratchet handle better.  --Steve

Brand new product!! You will not find a heavier-duty lasso strap on the market. This 2 inch strap is MASSIVE, with an ultimate strength that surpasses everything we have ever offered. Unfortunately, they only make a steel ring that we can rate at WLL of 3000 lbs. Hard to believe that the weakest link in this assembly is the steel ring, but that's the fact. (If you want a bit of extra strength, select the sewn eye option that will give you a WLL of 5000 LBS-- but be careful-- most of your ratchet handles on the market will have a working load limit of 3000 LBS.)

This lasso strap are for the folks out there who are interested in having the heaviest-duty material. The Cordua sleeve can be positioned at any point on this lasso strap, so if you're having a problem with straps rubbing against trailing arm, break parts, etc., this is something that will help extend the life of your straps. This sleeving material is so strong, you can put it on your work bench and drag a screwdriver across it... you won't be able to tear it!

Standard length is 8 feet, but you can select 10 foot if you need a bit of extra length.
