This tie down bar is made with a high strength alloy steel and has gone through a special heat treatment to ensure that it is through-tempered. This tempering process means that you can't put a bend in the bar! The process ensures that the bar "remembers" it's proper form and always spring back to the proper shape.

Additionally, it has gone through an extensive proprietary testing process to ensure it meets spec. During the test, the bar was bent 90 degrees, and it went right back to the proper shape!

SAFETY NOTE: If you're putting enough force on a tie down bar to bend it this much, you're doing something wrong, unless you're working in a destructive testing environment!

This is an extremely high quality tie down bar designed to give you years of service. We strongly recommend that you spray paint it bright pink... because once people find out it's an Autohauler Super Bar... it just might disappear!
