Assembly consists of 2" x 8' w/ 3 Tire Cleats, 1 Fixed Grab Hook & 1 Swivel-J hook w/ 1 Floating Swivel-J hook - 3000 lbs WLL - designed for open auto transport trailers like Boydstun, Cottrell, JM, Delavan. Comes with 10" of Cordura sleeve between the grab hook and idler hook. Advantage to the Swivel-J hooks is that they fit into 3/4" holes in decking. (The double-J wire hoks require a 1" hole in decking) The grab hook allows you to use your auto transport trailer's tie-down chain to tighten the strap.

****WARNING****

Do NOT over-tighten these wheel straps. Even if you have the hook all the way in the deck of the car hauler, it is possible to SNAP these hooks. YOU WILL SNAP THESE HOOKS FOR SURE IF YOU "POINT-LOAD" THE TIP. Chain ratchets and winch bars provide you with extreme leverage. These straps are a great tie-down system, and will give you excellent performance and long wear.

If you have 350 pound sumo wrestlers or body-builders working for you, you may want to go to a standard wheel strap system with ratchet. Autohauler Supply in no way disparages sumo wrestlers or body-builders, (that would be dangerous!). We just encourage you to make sure you get the hook of this strap all the way in to the decking.

This strap was originally designed to work with Boydstun trailers, but we have inserted the hook in Cottrell trailers and found it to be a good fit. It WILL NOT FIT decking with star pattern holes, like the old Millers
