Well, of course that would be Safe 'n Secure towing and auto transport products made with patented Diamond Weave webbing.
Diamond Weave webbing has two different patents for abrasion resistance and also edge-protection. Some interesting things about it:
- No break-in period. Tighten it once, and go down the road. Regular webbing has a break-in period and stretches a bit. Diamond Weave is practically KNOTTED together. One of my first customers who ever bought significant quantities of it told me about this. (Shout out to Dixon Auto Transport!) He said: "The guys like Diamond Weave better than the other straps you used to sell us. They tension it once, and they don't have to keep retensioning it as they go down the road." Other customers told us it tended to not sponge up as much water as regular straps, which made it a lot easier to deal with in the winter months in the northern states.
- Lasts and lasts and lasts. Sure, you can find cheap straps out there. But are you really saving money if you have to replace them every 60 days? Our customers tell us they get twice the life out of these. Sometimes more, depending on the driver.
- It's woven in the USA.
- It's stitched in the USA. Safe 'n Secure, the manufacturer, is right next door to us. Like literally. IF you want a special color or configuration or length. Or a special sort of hook, Safe 'n Secure has millions of dollars of inventory in the warehouse of webbing, hooks, plus a lot of skilled people in the sewing department who have been making quality tie-down products for a long time.
Don't get me wrong, I like our other strap products like Big Orange, Tecnic PRO, but Diamond Weave is by far my absolute favorite one to sell. The first time I got a sample sent to me, I knew it was going to be good. And over the years, my customers have agreed. If you haven't tried it yet, put a few on your truck and see how they compare to what you've been using. I think you'll be happily surprised.
