This is our metric version of our popular AH-REDSTICK. It measures up to 4M 57CM, and is based on our 15ft AH-REDSTICK-V2
Standard Features:
Double sided arm bracket, for right or left hand control of the wing bolt.
Instead of the half moon opening on the arm bracket, we designed the bracket to just have a center hole. This to make the arm easier to work with. No more of the old style brackets that allowed the arm to fall of the height stick, when adjusting the wing screw.
Heavier duty fiberglass in four telescopic sections collapses down smaller so it's easier to store. (short enough to slide in behind the seats on a day cab truck)
Super duper durable numbers for measuring (no cheaply printed number that wears off easily.)
Comes with a heavy duty convenient nylon carrying bag.
Measures up to 4 Meters 57 Centimeters height with 4 foot horizontal swing arm.
Why did we feel the need to create another height stick?
Warning: the following text discusses units of measurement in feet and inches 
Since 2004, we'd been selling the old-fashioned yellow height stick. Over the years, our customers told us there were things that they didn't like about this height stick. They wanted thicker fiberglass, stronger buttons, and a smaller collapsed length. The old yellow height stick that we sell has a collapsed length of 64 inches. This red height stick has a collapsed length of 53 inches. How were we able to do that? By going with 4 telescopic vertical sections instead of 3, it collapses down smaller. Outside tube is 1-3/4 in diameter, and rubber cup at the bottom has a 2" diameter.

Update: September 16, 2013
We discovered recently that the manufacturer we chose to produce our red height stick is an ISO 9000 company. We're still not sure exactly what this means or why it is important, but in my imagination, I see it playing out in a courtroom drama thusly:
Attorney: "The witness claims that the load in question was three inches shorter than the limit required for underpass safety, [dramatic pause] but was this height stick produced in a facility that had ISO 9000 certification?"
Witness: "Yes."
Attorney: "Aw, shucks... No further questions, Your Honor."
Judge: "The witness may step down. He bought the right height stick. Case DISMISSED."

Here is our new left handed or right handed set up. You have the option to switch, just by unbolting the arm, and reinstalling it the opposite way!
The aluminum hardware on this height stick is high grade. Features a longer wing bolt to make assembly and dis-assembly easier, plus fasteners to keep the fiberglass tubes securely anchored.

Here is a picture of a competitors yellow stick.
This is why our extra thick/strong fiberglass matters. A thin and light height stick might be nice, but it is not made for the trucking environment.
