Why does the strap have 3 lines? The webbing we used to make this strap starts with an 18,000 lb break strength and has a baseline break strength of 14,400 after stitching. The reason we went with such a superior webbing wasn't because we needed that much tensile strength, but rather because we wanted to provide you with a longer lasting replacement strap for your Cottrell next generation trailer or for your strap conversion trailer. TIGHTER WEAVE = BETTER LIFE.
- The short swivel J is stronger and offers some versatility in situations when a good hole is hard to find.
- Abrasion resistant webbing and strong tensile strength mean greater durability and security.
- Low Profile sleeve makes it easier to place the strap on the tire, and the smooth interior enables equalized tension on both sides of the tire. Harder to do this with rubber tread grabs.
