TECNIC webbing is extremely strong and durable. We start with 18,000 lb webbing (before stitching). The reason why we do this is not because we need a strap that will hold 9 tons, but because we want durability and abrasion resistance. You can't see the difference in a picture, but I guarantee if you hold it in your hand, you will definitely FEEL the difference.
